MatteMatch is a videogame from 2021, made for the online learning platform Skolen fra Cappelen Damm. We had to leave it a bit unfinished, but it’s totally playable and fun. David Recke was the main designer and programmer, creating a unique and mathematical roguelike deckbuilder.
As the art director and main artist, I made the concept art, backgrounds, character/enemy art, UI, art for cards and artifacts, hero and menu animations, and some enemy animations. I got help from talented friends to do more enemy animations and additional art.
I used Photoshop for drawing and Spine for animating, and I dipped my toes in the game engine Cocos Creator to import and edit things, and make particle effects.

Haku for Elvelangs 2025
A collaboration with talented Mathilde M. Beck! We were asked to make something for Elvelangs in Oslo, a yearly riverside wandering with loads of art and lights and music. We wanted to make a dragon floating in the river, and chose Haku not just because we’re Spirited Away fans, but because he is a river god, and the white color would be visible in the dark.
Inner Monkey podcast art
A fun project where I made various design and art for the podcast Inner Monkey by Daniel Lam! A logo and icon, wallpapers and a video.
The video consists of two loops that can be put together in any order: They’re both a day-night timelapse, but in one of them the monkey takes a pause from the GameBoy Advance to have a look at the stars. I drew the elements in Photoshop, animated them in Spine, and composited in After Effects.
